Easter Eve

In a valley where spring flowers grew,
There lived a bunny, special and true.
Hoppington was his name, so bright,
Delivering Easter eggs in the night.

With a fluffy tail and ears so tall,
Hoppington hopped and answered the call.
He gathered his helpers, both big and small,
To make Easter eggs for one and all.

The eggs they painted with colors so grand,
With patterns and swirls, they looked just as planned.
Each one unique, a treasure to share,
For children to find, hidden with care.

On Easter Eve, when the night sky gleamed,
Hoppington set out, his eyes beamed.
With a cart full of eggs, both shiny and bright,
He began his journey under the moonlight.

From house to house, he hopped so quick,
Hiding the eggs with a magical trick.
Behind the bushes, in the trees,
He placed the eggs where none could see.

As morning arrived and children awoke,
They’d search for the eggs, a game to provoke.
Laughter and joy filled the air,
As they discovered eggs hidden with care.

Back in the valley, the creatures did cheer,
For Hoppington’s work brought joy every year.
A bunny so special, he warmed every heart,
By sharing the magic of Easter, an art.

So remember dear children, when Easter is near,
The magical bunny who brings us great cheer.
Hoppington’s love, his colorful array,
Will brighten our lives each Easter Day.
