Clouds, clouds, floating high

In a bright, blue sky on a warm summer day,
A baby lay down on a blanket to play.
With chubby cheeks and a giggle so sweet,
The baby looked up at the clouds at their feet.

Chorus:
Clouds, clouds, floating high,
Painting pictures in the sky,
Babies watch with wonder and glee,
The shapes and stories that clouds can be.

A fluffy white cloud shaped like a bear,
Danced and pranced in the cool, fresh air.
The baby laughed and clapped their hands,
As the bear-cloud floated over the lands.

Chorus:
Clouds, clouds, floating high,
Painting pictures in the sky,
Babies watch with wonder and glee,
The shapes and stories that clouds can be.

Next came a cloud that looked like a boat,
Sailing on the sky, staying afloat.
The baby’s eyes widened, watching it glide,
Imagining themselves on a heavenly ride.

Chorus:
Clouds, clouds, floating high,
Painting pictures in the sky,
Babies watch with wonder and glee,
The shapes and stories that clouds can be.

A parade of cloud animals marched past,
Each one unique, each one a blast.
The baby watched with joy and delight,
As the clouds told stories in their gentle flight.

Chorus:
Clouds, clouds, floating high,
Painting pictures in the sky,
Babies watch with wonder and glee,
The shapes and stories that clouds can be.

As the sun dipped low, the clouds drifted away,
Leaving behind memories of a magical day.
The baby lay down, their eyes growing dim,
Dreaming of clouds and the stories within.

Chorus:
Clouds, clouds, floating high,
Painting pictures in the sky,
Babies watch with wonder and glee,
The shapes and stories that clouds can be.
