Teaching Little Sister

Makayla snuggled into her cozy bed, surrounded by her favorite stuffed animals. As she closed her eyes, she thought about the fun she had with her baby sister, Luna, earlier that day.

Makayla loved to play with Luna, even though she was still a baby. They played peek-a-boo and sang songs together. Luna’s giggles always made Makayla smile.

One day, while they were playing, Luna crawled away from Makayla and into the backyard. Makayla followed her and saw that Luna had crawled towards a beautiful garden. The flowers were so pretty that Luna tried to grab one, but Makayla gently stopped her.

Makayla explained to Luna that some flowers were meant to be looked at and not touched. She pointed out the different colors and shapes of the flowers, and Luna listened intently.

As they sat in the garden, a butterfly flew by, and Luna reached out to touch it. But again, Makayla gently stopped her and explained that they shouldn’t touch the butterfly because it was delicate.

Luna looked up at Makayla with her big hazel eyes, and Makayla knew that she was teaching her little sister important things.

Now, as Makayla drifted off to sleep, she knew that she would always be there to teach and protect Luna, just like she did in the garden. And with that, Makayla fell into a deep, peaceful sleep, dreaming of more fun adventures with her baby sister.
