Oh no! It’s Bath Time

As the day came to a close, Kenneth’s mom announced that it was time for his nightly bath. Kenneth let out a deep sigh, as he wasn’t particularly fond of bath time. He would rather be playing video games or reading his favorite comic book.

However, he knew he couldn’t avoid bath time, so he got up from the couch and headed to the bathroom. As he entered the room, he could smell the sweet scent of lavender, his favorite bath soap.

Kenneth’s mom had already drawn the bath and added some bubbles to make it more fun. “It’s time to hop in,” she said, smiling.

Kenneth stepped into the tub, feeling the warm water on his toes. He sank down into the bubbles and let out a contented sigh.

As he played with his rubber duck and boats, his mom started to wash his hair. Kenneth was a little worried about getting soap in his eyes, but his mom knew just how to make it fun. She would pretend to wash his hair like a superhero, swooping in to save the day and defeat the villainous dirt and grime.

Soon, Kenneth was laughing and having a blast, splashing in the water and creating big waves. His mom joined in the fun, making funny faces and blowing bubbles with her mouth.

Before he knew it, bath time was over. His mom helped him out of the tub and wrapped him up in a warm towel. She even let him pick out his favorite pajamas.

As he snuggled up in bed, feeling clean and cozy, Kenneth realized that maybe bath time wasn’t so bad after all. He drifted off to sleep, dreaming of bubbles and superhero battles.
