Friends are special, they’re one of a kind
They’re always there to help and to unwind
When you’re feeling sad or feeling blue
A good friend is there to cheer and comfort you.

Friends share laughter and stories too
They play and have fun, there’s so much to do
They make memories that will last a lifetime
With a friend by your side, everything’s just fine.

Friends come in all shapes and sizes
From all walks of life, with different surprises
Some have fur, some have scales or feathers
But what’s most important is that they’re together.

So if you’re feeling lonely or feeling down
Just remember that there’s a friend around
Someone who cares and will always be true
Because that’s what friends do, they stick together like glue
