Seasons Changing

The leaves are turning red and gold,
Autumn’s here, we all behold.
The air is crisp, the breeze is cold,
The changing of the seasons we’re told.

Summer’s warmth begins to fade,
As nature’s palette starts to shade.
The trees prepare for winter’s aid,
The changing of the seasons displayed.

The pumpkins on the porch now sit,
As Halloween’s drawing close a bit.
The cornucopia’s overflow and fit,
The changing of the seasons to admit.

Soon the snow will cover the ground,
Winter’s wonderland to surround.
The chill in the air will be profound,
The changing of the seasons profound.

But for now, let’s enjoy the fall,
The season’s colors, the harvest’s call.
Let’s make the most of it all,
The changing of the seasons, let’s recall.
